Office 2007 Activation

Is it okay to use my Office 2007 Beta 2 on my XP partition and my Vista partition at the same time? (That is, when I get Vista hopefully in a week or two.) Thanks.

Can you run both operating systems separate partitions at the same time? You can install, activate and use it whenever you are in both operating systems or use at the same time on different computers. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

Hmm... not sure if this is what you're on about - if you install a registry modifying program such as WLMessenger or Office 2007, you'll have to install it on both operating systems to get them both to work.
If you have two partitions, and Office 2007 installed on your XP partition, it won't work (or very unlikely) to work whilst you're booted in Vista - so you'll have to install it on both for it to work on both.

I am aware that I'll have to install Office 2007 on both partitions, but my question was if I will be allowed to install it on my XP partition and my Vista partition. I have a feeling that I'll be playing with Vista more than XP. (Once I get it.) This will all be done on the same computer. "Zack Whittaker" wrote in message

Oh righto - yeh should be OK :o) I used the same setup files to install it on 7 computers in the house, but make sure you uninstall all your versions first, and start by installing Office 2007 and *then* the added ones like Groove then Visio - doing Visio first screws it all up :o(
